Coach Mitch Mendler is a native of McLean, VA and is starting his third season at the helm of the Rough Riders.  Coach Mendler attended Flint Hill High School where he is now in his third season as the Head Baseball Coach.  Coach Mendler graduated from Randolph-Macon College where he played catcher for four years. During that time, he played a major role in the program’s success with an ODAC regular season championship, #1 national ranking for several weeks, NCAA regional championship, and a DIII College World Series Semi-Final appearance.
Since Coach Mendler's return to his alma mater, the Flint Hill Huskies have won two MAC Conference Regular Season Championships, qualified for two VISAA State Tournaments, and have had several all-met, all-state, and all conference players. Coach Mendler is very involved in the Northern Virginia baseball community where he is currently a member of the ABCA, VBCA, and VISAA D1 State Committee.
