Meet Coach Pototsky!
Coach Dane Pototsky is a native of Falls Church, VA, and is entering his 4th season at the helm of the Gators. Coach Pototsky graduated from Falls Church HS in 2011. After graduating from high school, he began coaching varsity baseball at cross-town rival J.E.B. Stuart (now Justice HS) while obtaining a degree in Sports Management from George Mason University. After graduation, he continued to coach baseball at Justice and is entering his 13th season leading the Wolves.
Coach Pototsky has been fortunate to coach an eclectic mix of student-athletes at the youth, travel, high school, and collegiate levels. This ranges from a starting high school outfield of converted cricketers, to nationally-ranked travel teams such as the Molina Stars.
When he isn't hitting fungos, throwing batting practice, or practicing double-squeezes, Coach Pototsky is a special education and English teacher at Justice High School who teaches IB Language & Literature and Education for Employment. In his current role, he also coordinates preparation and remediation for standardized literacy tests and workplace readiness.
Coach Pototsky currently resides in Annandale, where he lives with his two Junior Hack Attack pitching machines.
