​Meet Coach Carroll!

Carson Carroll was born and raised in Southern California and attended Los Angeles Community College and the University of California, Irvine, where he obtained his degree in Biological Sciences. At LA Valley, Carson received 1st Team All-State Honors and at UCI, he earned 1st Team All-Conference and Sporting News Honorable Mention All-American.  
In 1981, Carson was drafted in the 17th round by the Minnesota Twins and played 7 minor league seasons with the Twins, Yankees and Royals.  He had a career .975 fielding percentage and stole 156 bases earning 3 Minor League All-Star awards. 
In 2010 Carson co-founded the Stars Baseball program. Since that time, over 900 Stars players have earned college commitments and 50 have been MLB affiliated professional players.
Carson and his wife, April have been married for 33 years and have 3 sons.​
