 Jack Ferrick, a.k.a. "Coach Cakes" is an award winning baseball coach with close to 20 years of coaching, including two at the helm of the Bunt Cakes. Coach Ferrick played college baseball at the United States Naval Academy, serves as an associate scout to the Milwaukee Brewers, and served as the head baseball coach at Osbourn Park High School for 9 seasons.  His unwavering commitment to excellence has led him to achieve remarkable success both as a player and a coach.  Coach Ferrick is a prominent figure in the baseball world, widely recognized for his invaluable contributions to Catchers U.  He has dedicated his life to the art and science of catching in the sport.    At Catchers U, Coach Ferrick has revolutionized the training and development of catchers, employing innovative techniques and a wealth of experience to nurture the next generation of top-tier athletes. His coaching philosophy emphasizes not only the fundamental skills necessary for the position, but also the mental fortitude and strategic insight crucial for success on the field.  Coach Ferrick is a sought-after speaker and consultant, frequently sharing his knowledge through clinics, seminars, and coaching sessions, influencing and inspiring aspiring catchers globally.  
Coach Ferrick is married to Sarah Torres-Ferrick and has 2 children, Isabel and JT.
